Description

Pony Express Museum, Mounted Rider in front of Stable Doors, Photos (5), c. 1959. Color photos of unidentified man mounted on chestnut horse. Mochila under his saddle. Taken in front of the stable doors. In one photo (#428), this man is receiving a document from another dismounted rider. This is perhaps a scene of mochila-style exchange on a Pony Express re-run. Undated, but after the 1959 opening of the Museum.
