Caption: "Joe Paulhus, 3002½ Seneca street, is shown with a model of the Pony Express Stables which he presented to the St. Joseph Museum. It is on the second floor in the Pony Express exhibit Mr. Paulhus has made a model a year for the past 20 years. First, he takes a photograph of what he wants to make then he makes scale drawings from the picture. He works on a card table at home with a knife as his basic tools. He uses artist's board for his models. Mr. Paulhus also builds dollhouses and collects stamps as a hobby."
