Portraits of Jack and Edward Kessberger, two of
Jack. one of my Uncle Eddie.
Jack Ransom Kessberger was a Navy pilot in WW II, serving in the Mediterranean. He was very thin and didn't pass his physical the first time out. He was given another chance wherefore he ate chocolate bars for a week and made it in. He wanted so much to serve and serve he did, with honor. His brother Edward also served in WW II in the Navy. His life, unfortunately, deteriorated afterwards due to great difficulties with alchohol. He married a farm girl from Iowa and had three children: John, Ellen, and Lisa. Sadly there was a divorce and the mother and cousins left the area. Nothing is now known of them.Context
