Postcard written to Mrs. Charlene Haley of Saint Joseph, Missouri from Bonnie and Russell Magee of Kansas City, Missouri on August 21, 2002.
Included on the front of the postcard are a handwritten name and address, sticker returjnadfress, 2 ink stamps, 1 physical stamp, and a printed illustration of a farm labeled USA 21.
On the back of the postcard is a handwritten message in black pen:
“Dear Charlene,
Russel and I enjoyed your letter his 80th birthday time, we will never forget you & Ed we enjoyed you two & life bed you both Charlene.
We both are doing pretty good for our age & we are truly thankful to the ‘Lord.’ Russell got along real good from his surgeries last fall both eyes, Hernia & pacemaker. He is one that keeps busy on the farm & get me go & do things often to we try to keep on the go & hope to us long as we can, so thankful, I am still using walker but very thankful for walkers. It sounds like you keep busy and do great work how wonderful.
We don't come to St Joe very often when we do, it's usually eye & heart doctors, but if we can, some time would love to visit with you to & will give you a call, but don't know when that will ever be, but thanks for the invitation.
