A Practical Method of Sponge Culture is a paper presented before the Fourth International Fishery Congress held at Washington, D.C. September 22 to 26, 1908. It covers conditions and need of the sponge fisheries, previous experiments in sponge culture, and possible lines of experiment. The propagation of sponges from cuttings and the economic application of the method is also discussed.
