Register of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of Missouri 1901-1903 was compiled by Henry Cadler, secretary, one of the founders of the state society. This is the first Register in the new century, and the period of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition is notable in particular to the people of the commonwealth.
The Society was organized at the Lindell Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri February 22, 1894, by Henry Cadle, who had undertaken its promotion at the request of Mr. John Hone, of New York, Chairman of the Committee of the General Society on New Organizations. The Register lists the members by last name, first name, date of election, and a history of their ancestor who served in the revolution. A list of members in memoriam is at the end of the book.
