Robidoux, Julius Granddaughter, Emma Thompson as Young Girl Photo, 1879. sepia. Daughter of Emily Robidoux Thompson. Formal portrait photo of a girl about age 9, standing view. She has hard hair with bangs, wearing a coat over her skirt. The layered skirt has one layer, trimmed, pulled back at center. The jacket is topped with a wide white collar, with pendant necklace . Her shoes are black high top button style. The photo backdrop is of a marble wall upon which she has her right hand. Handwritten on back: "Emma Thompson, 1879" Photographer: W.J.
