Among other info, Boder remarks "Our local history tells us that Michel Robidoux had an early day trading post in the Wildcat Hills of Fort Laramie and just south of the North Platte river in Wyoming, and that there was a blacksmith shop in connection. This trading post was closed in 1854." "Also in Utah , in the 1820s and 1830s, Antoine Robidoux operated a trading post beyond the Shining Mountains (later Rocky)."
