Santa Clara Pottery Today. This book combines extensive historical research with interviews granted by three Santa Clara potters. During the interviews, the author recorded and photographed each step in the making of contemporary Santa Clara pottery. These steps are illustrated so thoroughly that the reader can experiment with the techniques himself. Background is also provided on the evolution of Santa Clara pottery and identifies changes that have occurred in materials and techniques. The book includes a copy of "The Masterkey", a pamphlet printed by the Southwest Museum, vol. 52, April-June, 1978, titled: "Ceramic Revival in the Casas Grandes Valley," by Spencer Heath MacCallum. This book is number 29 of the Monograph Series. This book is part of the Don Reynolds collection.
