Description
Saurman Portrait Studio Photo of Man with Top Hat, c. 1885. Studio portrait, ¾ length, of man holding a top hat. He is standing resting his left arm on back of an upholstered chair. His dark three-piece suit is buttoned only at the top, exposing his vest with watch chain. His high-collar white shirt is finished with light-colored tie. He has close-cropped hair with receding hairline, and a mustache. Sepia, 4¼" x 6½" on cardboard backing.
Handwritten on back: "Edward's boy".
