News Photo: Lady of the courthouse is lifted from her pedestal of 79 years.
News Photo : Lady of the courthouse as she is inspected by people in the town as she lies on the first floor of the courthouse.
Her identity is still unknown. Some said she was the statue of justice, others said the Statue of Liberty and others said she was the goddess of agriculture. On each of the four sides of the roof, a full size statue of Justice is placed and the pinnacle of the tower is surmounted by a heroic statue of Liberty. However the lady bears no resemblance to the Statue of Liberty standing on Liberty Island.
