Schreiber Mills History. Hand written history of Schreiber Mills provided by Megan Wyeth, daughter of Allen Schreiber, Jr. Mill began in 1907 and was always located at 8th & Mitchell. Allen B. Schreiber, Sr. was principal owner and was joined by other family members. A warehouse at 5th & Oak Street burned. They also had a mill in Minneapolis in 1930's, and warehouse in Wichta, KS and Kansas City near stockyards.
