Shadow box from the Shadow Box Room. American colonial girl's room. A - box 22" x 14" x 18". Interior with 2 draped windows on back wall with openings to flower/garden scenes. Rectangular portraits hanging on left and right walls. Rectangular mirror on back wall. Unattached: B - porcelain head doll on stand. Brown dress with lace at sleeves and hem, white lace handkerchief fastened to waist. 12" tall with stand. C - rectangular rug, 9 1/2" x 6 1/4". Red/orange/beige patterned. D - rectangular wood table, curved legs, hinged top with a etched design on the top, red velvety interior with mirror inside lid. 5 faux drawer fronts on outside front. 4 1/2" tall, 7" wide, 4" deep. E & F - 2 silver containers with stoppers, 3 3/4" tall. G - cut glass bowl, 1" tall, 2" diameter. H - 1 Chinese ornamental urn/vase. 1 3/4" tall. I - 1 porcelain cat, Mexico imprinted on front. 1 1/4" x 1". J - 1 ottoman, round, red satin covered, small doll figure attached to top with a straight pin. 3 1/2" x 1". K - wood dome top hump pack trunk, brown with black edging, hinged top, 2 compartment tray inside. 7" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2". Inside various clothes - night gown, apron, jacket, blouse, pantaloons, slip, blue sash. L - shaped (stiff) bonnet for the doll, green velveteen with red/pink ribbons, pink flowers.
