Scope and Content

Silver shoehorn, clothes brush and "Chatelaine". Also Leach/ Moss napkin rings, all pieces with monograms and/or inscriptions. A note from my mother, Catherine Barrow Kessberger, who gave me the chatelaine for Christmas one year. The chatelaine, dated "Nov. 18 1912," belonged to Catherine Carbry Moss as did the shoehorn and the clothes brush. The napkin rings are monogramed "Nellie" and "Nellie Leach" for Ellen J. Leach, ne' Word and Lewis Leach, her first husband, and their child, Mary Word Leach. There is also a Moss napkin ring with an "M"
