Booklet filled with religious poems or essays. Poem pasted into booklet about St. Joseph Highway bonds: "Heigh Ho! For old St. Joe. She voted for highway bonds, you know And that is going to make her grow So, that's where I am going to go. Now working-man you are in this too For it will give you work to do So you can make a living too. So that is where I am going to stay And have a home the rest of my day. Now business-man do all you can As it will make your business grow, When men have work and money too. Come on, let's grow for new St. Joe. Mr. Farmer you are in this too For St. Joe is a friend to you, And the new highways will help you tooo. She will buy your corn, wheat and hogs, And see you the best in tools and togs. In new St. Joseph schools let children sing, Prosperity they will help to bring. New factories their whistles blow, Let's go! Let's grow for new St. Joe. J.L. Bear"
