Foreword
Since the first Christmas Seal sale in the United States was organized in 1907 this plan of fund-raising has spread over the entire country and the annual returns from it have become the chief support of the local, state and national tuberculosis associations. . . . . .
As our own United States seal sale has grown in size and influence men, women and children allover the country have become interested in tuberculosis seals in other lands. . . . . .
I am greatly indebted to "A Catalog of Tuberculosis Seals of the World" . . . for much of the material used in tis pamphlet. I acknowledge also the personal assistance of Mr. Dick Green, Mr. Charles Lorenz and others who have helped by loan of material, revision of the manuscript, and in other ways.
