State Lunatic Asylum No. 2. Ledger and Accounts Paid, 1896-1901. Gold leather/suede bound ledger for accounts paid. Ledger is in poor condition with peeling leather.
The ledger starts on page 1 with February 1896 and goes through page 618 ending with August 1901. At the top of each page is the month & year and occasionally will have "warrants" written behind the month. The accounts paid are frequently listed by counties to individuals & it appears there are also accounts paid to individual patients.
On page 622 it starts with October 1899 & goes back to April 1996, going month by month.
