The Story of the Wilders is the story of the family of Almanzo Wilder who became the husband of Laura Ingalls. References are made to Laura's many books in the Little House on the Prairie series. The Wilders came from Europe to New England, Almanzo and his brother were sent to Minnesota by their father to file on homestead claims. It was here he met Laura. Life in DeSmet, MN and the move to Mansfield, MO are included.
