Description

Strength to Love is a book of sermons by Martin Luther King, Jr on God's divine laws. Published in 1963 this is the first printed volume of King's sermons. The sermons in this volume have the present (1963) crisis as their background; and they were selected for the personal and a collective problems that the crisis presents. These sermons were originally written for the parishioners in the Ebenezeer Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia and and the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church of Montgomery, Alabama. King had been reluctant previously to publish his sermons. 179/Softbound/Tables.
