Description

Sunbridge Hills Rendevous, A Proposal, 1995. A Living History, Native American and Mountain Men Encampment, Traders' Row, and Trappers' Dinner Theater. Proposal by a committee of community organization to "provide the Midland Empire with a living history experience of the St. Joseph area, circa 1800-1820; to preserve and celebrate the cultural heritage of the Native Americans and Mountain Men who gave us our legacy; to promote St. Joseph and our economic commerce through tourism." This proposal was not enacted although a later scaled down "Sacred Hills Encampment" operated for several years at the top of Krug Park. 10/Report/Photocopy/Stapled
