Notes
From Sue Wagner: "My Aunt, Nancy Townsend Zebelean, would like to donate a table that our family has referred to as the "Townsend Table" to the St. Joseph Museum. This table (one of several) use to grace the mezzanine at Townsend & Wall for years. It is French provincial and has a scallop marble top. It was used to display yarn. My aunt would go up and buy yarn from Mrs. McCullough* and occasionally gain tips on knitting as well as stories. At one time my aunt shared that her maden name was Townsend and her uncle was owner/President of the store in its earlier years."
"Years ago when Townsend was going out of business, stock and fixtures had to be removed. Mrs. McCullough ended up with the table. When it came time for her to find a new owner, she gave it to my aunt since she was a member of the Townsend family."
