Touch the Past is a music book and fictional diary written from actual research titled "Thoughts of a Pioneer Woman". Each song has a narrative of the origin of the song. The book is accompanied by a cassette tape of the music played on the hammered dulcimer by Esther Kreek. Also included in the book is a music bibliography.
