United We Stand Day certificate
"In the thirty days since the devasting attack inflicted on America by terrorists fanatics, we have become closer as a Nation, a State, a County, and a Community. We can now look at each other, not as Republican or Democrat, Black or White, Christian, Jew or Muslin but as fellow Americans who now stand United against the tyranny from abroad.
And so it is resolved by the County Commission of Buchanan County, that this day, October 11, 2001, be established as UNITED WE STAND DAY, and proclaim our support of the President of the United States, all of our service men and women, our public safety employee and all who will protect and defend our nation during this time of trial.
