Description

Utah is a general history of the state written by unemployed writers during the depression years under the Works Projects Administration. Historian Dale Morgan was supervisor of the Utah project. Parts include: Utah's background, Benneville Bench Cities, Highways and Dugways(auto tours), and Parks and Primitive areas. The Pony Express is mentioned in numerous locations in relation to sites. Although this book may seem more related to other call # areas, it has been shelved with Pony Express as that is how it would receive the most use. 595/Hardbound/Illustrations/Maps/Photographs.
