Vascular Plants of Scott and Muscatine Counties tells the history of plant life, in the region of Davenport, Iowa, from earliest records and lists over forty thousand specimens found in the two counties with some reference to surrounding counties in Iowa and to Rock Island and Whiteside Counties in Illinois. The book was funded by a Memorial Fund of the Davenport Public Library
