This fifth edition constitutes a substantial departure from Wechsler's first four editions of this book. Only four of the chapters are essentially unchanged (5, 8, 9, 10) from Wechsler's previous editions. The rest of the chapters have the authors own views and conclusions about intelligence, its nature and clinical assessment.
