Report on building of church at northeast corner of 11th & Sycamore. Illustration of church building included. The congregation was organized in 1867 and for a time worship in a frame building on Hickory Street between 6th & 7th. A branch of the St. Joseph Free Public Library was scheduled to open in the new church.
B = August 2, 1900, "Construction completed today." To hold first service on Aug. 19. Has a seating capacity of 500. Short story.
