The White Indian Boy is the Story of Uncle Nick Among the Shoshones by E. N. Wilson in collaboration with Howard R. Driggs with illustrated drawings by F. N. Wilson. In the introduction, Mr. Driggs states that there is a town called Wilson, Wyoming. This town was named after "Uncle Nick" Wilson who had a cabin nearby, an old pioneer who was helpful to all and loved to tell stories. Uncle Nick tells of his experiences among the Shoshone Indians and also as a Pony Express rider out of Ruby Valley in Nevada as part of his life. He was encouraged to write down all his stories. It wasn't easy, but here they are. There are notes to Don Reynolds and autographs by Charles A. Wilson and Howard R. Driggs in the front of the book. This book is from the Don Reynolds library.
