Ruler, wooden. Item is a wooden measuring stick/yard stick made of a pale, soft, unfinished wood without an overly visible grain. Within the first inch there is a roughly drilled hole through the lower half of the ruler. Along the top half is a measurement in inches up to 36 inches, in black ink. Below the measuring is some other black text which is too blurred to read. In large red block text across the lower half is "OTTEN FURNITURE & HARDWARE COMPANY 5503 Lake Avenue ST. JOSEPH, MISSOURI PHONE 8-0862". On the opposite side is an identical section of measuring and unreadable small print. The red block test however reads, "PITTSBURGH PAINTS - - LOOK BETTER LONGER". 36"x1"Collection
