Zunkel, Caroline & Clara, Portrait Photo as Teens, c. 1895. sepia. Formal photo portrait of two teen girls, c. age 15 & 13. Head/shoulders view. The girls are seated side by side, the older on left, wearing dark jackets with enormous puffed sleeves, a double-heart pin at neck. This pin is also in the Museum's collection (00.31.26) Their dark hair is parted in the center and pulled back with bow at nape. Caption on back: (14) Caroline and Clara Zunkel, c. 1898. (note that both girls are wearing their double-heart pins, Clara's with the pendant cross.)
