Zunkel, Clara with Teacher, Mrs. Clara Hornkohl, Portrait Photo, c. 1894. Sepia. Diamond-mount formal portrait photo of woman with teen girl. Head/shoulders view. The woman is wearing a dark dress with large, white circular lace collar. The girl is wearing a lighter satin dress with square yoke and puff sleeves. Both have their dark hair parted in the center and worn back with tight curls on sides. Clara, the teen, is wearing a double-heart pin at her neck that is also in the Museum's collection (00.31.26). Caption on back: (13) Clara Zunkel with one of her teachers--Mrs. Clara Hornkohl, c. 1894. (Note that Clara is wearing the double-heart pin with pendant cross that is also being donated.)
