4"h x 3"w sepia photo of a man standing on a porch with a firearm and a dog. The porch was on a two-story house with a large bay to the right of its front door. It is tempting to think this may have been Mr. Aloysius Fenwick, because his house looked like that. Above the flat porch roof was a second floor with four visible four light double hung windows with shutters. The window in the center of the bay had its shutters closed. On the first floor, the porch floor was about ten brick courses above the ground, and was open underneath. The front door of the house was on the left, with a three light panel visible on the side. One large four light double hung window was wide open. It had dark shutters. The window behind Mr. Fenwick had its shutters closed. The window on the right was a similar four light double hung arrangement, but the window was closed, as were its draperies. Mr. Fenwick had on the usual dark suit with a dark vest and a watch chain. He wore a dark hat with a small brim. The dog appeared to be some sort of hound, probably brown with a white throat and stomach. His head easily reached Mr. Fenwick's hand.
