Black and white photo 7"h x 5"w of Aloysius Francis Fenwick. This was probably taken in a photographer's studio. Mr. Fenwick stands next to a large cupboard with a stone top that is waist height. There is a very elaborate clock near him and the back of a chair is visible to his right foreground. There is a drape hanging behind the cupboard and clock that flows down onto the floor behind Mr. Fenwick. The wall behind him is plain with a very deep baseboard. Mr. Fenwick is looking into the camera. He has dark hair, parted on his left and combed smoothly to the right. He has heavy eyebrows and a full beard, but no mustache. He has on a white shirt, a small dark tie, a vest that is partially buttoned and a dark coat that falls just above the knee. His right arm rests on the cupboard and his left arm hangs. The sleeves on his coat are too long. A strap comes from his right shoulder across his chest just above the first button on the vest and disappears under the coat. [Does it support a wallet?] Mr. Fenwick has on long trousers that may be a gray tweed. They are not cuffed, but it is difficult to tell how they are finished. He has on dark leather footwear, but boot or shoe can't be determined. Overall, he looks a little like Lincoln, but that is probably just the general appearance of the hair and beard.
