Black and white print produced from the negative of a photograph taken of the carte-de-visite for Aloysius Francis Fenwick (1817-1887). He is posed in the photographer's studio leaning on a marble topped sideboard with a large clock near his hand, a chair in front of him and cloth draped behind him. He has on a frock coat, a vest, white shirt, small dark tie, light colored trousers, and boots. He has a full beard, heavy eyebrows, prominent ears, and may have a comb-over. He does not wear glasses and is very solemn. This photo is rather grainy.
