3 1/2"h x 1 3/4"w sepia tone photo of a young woman standing before the photographer. She had dark hair pulled up and puffed out and had a large bow on the back of her head. She wore a white blouse with a high neck and three-quarter bloused sleeves. There may have been some lace at the neckline and a small pin at her throat. She wore a heavy dark A-line skirt and the ensemble was completed by a tightly cinched white belt. The photo was an oval image on a black board with a raised "frame" around the image. Stamped in silver near the bottom of the board, "Selby Studio 323 W. Lexington St. Baltimore, Md."
