3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of Athanasius Fenwick's desk and chair. The desk looked more like a dresser. It appeared to be about waist high with a flat top. There was a cut glass pitcher and bowl and a painted bowl displayed there. Two drawers and one single drawer were cantilevered over the two deep bottom drawers. All the drawers had key locks and simple wooden knobs. The one visible foot was a two layer cylinder under the corner. The chair was very simply made with a Dutch colonial motif. The square front legs ended right at the seat. It would not surprise me if the legs had once been taller and had been cut off. There were four stretchers. The seat was upholstered in a solid fabric. The pieces were on a lumpy dark rug.
