Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the interior of Bachelor's Hope. A fireplace is in the center of the photo. The firebox has a slight arch at the top and is very noticeable with freshly tuckpointed brick. There are five or six courses of brick in the floor also. The wall around the firplace is paneled to the ceiling. There is a narrow mantel that serves as a plate rail. There is a large metal plate in the center and two china plates on the outside with two tiny what-nots filling the in-between space. Two candle scones are on each edge of the paneling. There is a Windsor? chair with a flowered cushion on the left and a globe in a stand on the right. A bellows leans against the fireplace behind the chair. There is a framed picture of a sailing ship on the small wall on the right and then there is a door.
