This is a bright red Rotary banner with the bottom edge V-shaped and trimmed with bright yellow fringe. On the top is printed, in black, "Rotary Greetings" and the black gear toothed symbol of Rotary International is in a 2 1/8" white square. Directly under that is printed in white, "St. Mary's County." Next to it is a picture of the Freedom of Conscience statue in St. Mary's City. "Lexington Park" is printed in black next to the bottom of the statue and "Maryland U.S.A." is in black print in the point of the banner. Someone pinned a closed membership pin on the left top and an open membership pin on the right top of the banner. This may have been presented to Mr. Briscoe on the occasion of the November 22, 1965 luncheon or a luncheon in 1982.Collection
