Black and white 3 1/2"h x 5 11/16"w photo of Bard's Field. The house is in sad shape. It is a story and a half gable roof with the front and rear porch rooflines incorporated into the whole. There are two outside end chimneys on each gable end. In this view, the left chimneys have only one stack that goes to the roof. The near chimney terminates about at the floor boards of the attic. There is a tiny opening in the gable end near the roof peak next to the left chimney stack and another larger opening near the eaves next to where the right chimney stack would be. Siding is missing near this opening and two courses of clapboards are missing below. On the first floor, right at the near corner is a very small addition with a shed roof with a door under its eaves. The door does not reach the ground. Between the chimneys is an entry door with three two light openings above the door knob. It opens onto a deck that is three steps above the ground. There is an icebox? with a screen door frame leaning against it on the porch. The post of the porch on the back of the building is visible beyond. On the near side of the house, the covered area does not have a floor. The door to the house is in the center, four steps above the ground, and is flanked by one window on each side. There is a bench under the left window, plus various flotsam and a water heater and washing machine on the other side of the door. The corbels of both chimneys on the far gable end appear to be compromised. There appear to be fruit trees in the yard behind the house. Text on scrapbook page: "On Little Harry James Creek near Ridge."
