4 1/4"h x 3 1/4"w black and white photo of Bard's Field on Calvert's Neck in Ridge. It was a typical story and a half, porches integrated into the roofline on either side, two chimneys at each gable end, St. Mary's County house. In this view, there were two large chimneys with a pent between on the gable end. The tops of the chimneys had failed. Very close to the roof peak and near the right hand chimney was a small narrow window. Below were two four light windows on each outside edge of a chimney. What looked to be an opening for a stove pipe was between the right hand window and the edge of the chimney stack. The pent had a typical shed roof and was solid brick all the way to the ground. There were no windows in the gable end on the first level. The building appeared to be covered with asbestos siding in a faux brick pattern. The porch floors on either side were gone.
