This is a photograph of Bard's Field in Ridge that was built ca. 1800. It was a small story and a half house with four chimneys and a gable roof that included the porch roof. The two chimneys visible in this photo had a pent between them. The top of that set of chimneys was not visible, but the chimneys on the opposite end each had a corbel. The roof was shingled with shakes and had no dormers on the visible side. One small ten light attic window was visible on the near side of the chimney, but there was no window on the first floor gable end. The porch roof was sagging noticeably because it was supported by only four of the required five posts and there was no longer a porch floor. There was a central opening two brick steps above the ground with two glass windows in the upper two-thirds of the door. There was a window on the left side of the door that may have been a nine over nine light arrangement. Below that window was an opening into the basement or underside of the house. The house seemed to be in tough shape. This photo is very dark and is probably a copy of another photo.
