3 3/8"h x 4 3/8"w color photo of Bard's Field on Calvert's Neck in Ridge. It was a typical story and a half, porch integrated into the roofline, two chimneys at each gable end, St. Mary's County house. This photo was taken during the 1990 renovation of the house. There were piles of bricks, ladders, etc. in the yard. The new roof appeared to be cedar shakes. In this view, there were two chimneys on the left and two chimneys on the right. A porch was partly visible. A single six light window was visible near the shoulder of the closest chimney on the gable end. Between the chimneys was an entrance door with a ramp for access. Under the porch roof a basement window was visible. Someone felt compelled to put the electrical box on the chimney. The siding was white clapboard.
