Barn at WoodpeckerEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1433Description
Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of an outbuilding at Woodpecker. This building is a large barn. It has a metal? gable roof, but on the right roof there is a break in the roofline about six or eight feet down and the pitch of the roof is more gradual and covers additional space. On the left, there is a shed roof addition that begins just under the eaves of the main barn. All siding boards have a vertical orientation. There is a door in the addition right next to the corner of the barn. In the gable end of the barn, about halfway up to the peak is a louvred opening. Also in the gable end are several doors of various sizes. On the long low side of the building there are openings for equipment or animals. From this distance, it is not possible to tell if any of this building is meant for tobacco, although the vertical boards would suggest that. There is a tilled field between the camera and the barn.
