3 13/16"h x 4"w muted color photo of Barton Hall in a ruinous state. The two story bloc was on the left, the story and a half mid-section was next and a single story large addition was on the right. All the roof gables line up nicely. A single chimney was visible at the far gable end. There was a single window in the near gable end that had no glazing, so there were likely birds and squirrels in the attic. There were three windows on the long wall of the second story, but the first floor fenestration was obscured by a hipped roof screened porch covering the entire wall. The next building had a large chimney on its gable end, much of which was covered by the remaining building. The was a single gable roofed dormer in the middle roof and a single window was barely visible on the wall below. Undergrowth had obscured all but one window in the single story addition. There was a very large chimney on the gable end, also obscured by undergrowth. Mr. Beitzell is standing in the foreground to give a sense of scale.
*****************On the top "frame" of the photo is written "Barton Hall" in black archival ink and on the black plastic verso is "Kodamatic Film" in silver stamp ink.Collection
