5 1/8"h x 4 1/4"w sepia tone photo of Bessie Bowen Payne at age 4. The sheet of the image is just a little skewed on the board. Bessie had her right arm resting on a large fake rock as she stood in the studio. Her light brown hair was caught behind her rather prominent ears. She had on the usual white ruffled and eyelet dress with long sleeves. There was a fabric flower or some such on her right shoulder. There was a small bar at her neck. She was looking just to the right of the camera. The bottom panel said, "Wertheim Imperial Studio 21 E. Balto. St. Baltimore, Md." This same photo is on one of the pages liberated from the scrapbook.
