Dent was retained as attorney-in-fact for the Goldsmith family to deal with some real estate left to them by a relative in Davenport, Iowa. Some pieces in this folder are about that property. There is a suit for slander filed by B. C. Cheseldine against R. P. Blakistone. There are pieces about a judgment against John F. Dent in favor of Martha Wood.
