1 folder ; 14 3/4" w x 9 5/8" h Folder 000335. Pieces 571-590 All but six of these small pieces have to do with money owed to people who sent their hands to work one or more days on the public roads. Sixty-two and one-half cents per day was the going wage for one man, but slaves did not receive any of that. It went to the owner. The other six pieces list people who are owed $1.00 for attending court for a day as a juror or witness.
