1 folder ; 14 3/4" w x 9 5/8" h Folder 000247. Pieces 1131-1150 This folder has a few small sheets of bills for road work and many of the pieces have to do with tax collection. There are two printed receipts for payment of state taxes to Annapolis. There is an 1848 bill for 39 crow's heads. Joseph H. Jones received $88.75 as his wife's share of the sale of a piece of property sold to John A. Garner. St. Mary's Saving Institution sued George A. Blakistone, Z. D. Blakistone, James T. Blakistone, and R. P. Blakistone for $400. This may be for school taxes; the savings bank held the funds for the school commissioners.
