1 folder ; 14 3/4" w x 9 5/8" h Folder 000279. Pieces 1391-1410 This folder has a few statements from W. A. Padgett & Co and several from R. P. Blakistone. There is a bill from a hotel in Davenport, Iowa where Mr. Dent had gone to check on some property his family owned. In 1868, Mr. Dent paid interest on tax money he had held in the middle 1850s. There are several sheets of accounts belonging to Biscoe Cheseldine. There is a large sheet with an auditor's report on an unknown account, but the sums are considerable. A promissory note for $600 was paid off. There is a letter from Mr. Dent dunning a tenant for rent.
