Most of the folder concerns John F. and J. Marshall Dent's administration of John L. Lancaster's estate. J. Marshall was also guardian for two of his children. There is a bill for Mr. Lancaster's headstone--$200. There is a sheet in John F. Dent's handwriting that is probably a statement of county expenses for 1876-1877. This sheet may not belong in this folder.
